BioWare Has No Plans For Dragon Age The Veilguard DLC Right Now, Says Game Director

Speaking during an interview with YouTuber MrMattyPlays, Dragon Age: The Veilguard Game Director, Corrine Busche, revealed that BioWare doesn’t have any plans right now for DLC, primarily as it is ensuring the game ships as a complete package without the need for expansions.

Busche touched on Dragon Age Inquisition, noting that while she’s a “huge fan” of that game’s expansion, Trespasser, it was “so essential to the Dragon Age Inquisition story, it arguably should have been part of the base game.”

We really wanted to make it the most complete out-of-the-box package we possibly could, from a player experience, the narrative, and everything else. That’s entirely our focus right now. Hard to say what the future holds, but I will say that we had discussions about ‘should this game end after Act One?’ And the answer was an emphatic no – we needed to tell the whole story of The Veilguard.
