PM Studios has announced that the physical version of Black Myth Wukong will launch on PS5 on December 12, 2024.
Developed by Game Science, Black Myth Wukong was originally released for the PS5 in August of this year, and last month it was confirmed that the disc-based version of the game can be played without an Internet connection. Black Myth Wukong is one of the most successful video game releases of the year so far, with ex-PlayStation boss Ken Kutaragi revealing that the game sold a staggering 20 million units in its first month.

Black Myth: Wukong is rooted in Chinese mythology and based on Journey to the West, and takes the form of an action-RPG where players follow the Destined One and encounter powerful enemies as you work to confront your destiny. Black Myth: Wu Kong features a stunning world filled with ancient discoveries, with Heroic Monkey able to master powerful spells and uncover the stories behind a variety of characters.
