A Bloomberg report has revealed that Game Science‘s Black Myth: Wukong has sold a staggering 18 million copies in just two weeks, making it one of the fast-selling video games of all time behind only Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Grand Theft Auto V.
Furthermore, the game has estimated to have earned over $700 million as of August 30, with Daniel Ahmad writing on X stating that the figure is likely nearly to $800 million now. In addition to that, Game Science is also reportedly working on an expansion for Black Myth: Wukong that will allow it “to monetise the game a second time.”

Game Science announced back on August 23 that Black Myth: Wukong had sold 10 million units worldwide, so with this latest news from Bloomberg, it’s obviously managed to flog eight million more copies in a very short space of time.
