Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier has shot down hopes of seeing a Bloodborne remake for PS5 on Twitter, despite the project being rumored for some time now alongside a full-blown sequel.
Speaking on Twitter in response to a fan who asked him to leak details on the project, Schreier simply replied, βcan’t leak what doesn’t exist.β
Sony hasn’t announced any future plans for Bloodborne at this point, although recently Colin Moriarty suggested that we haven’t seen the last of the franchise.
Back in October last year, it was reported that a PC version of the dungeon crawler was in the pipeline, while Bluepoint Games β who are now part of the PlayStation Studios family β were working on a full-on remaster. However, it was later claimed that a Bloodborne remaster and sequel were not in active development.
