Original Story – 2K and Gearbox have announced that the Borderlands 3 PS5 upgrade will be available in the US on November 12 and in the UK and Europe on November 19, putting it out day and date with Sony’s new home console.
The Xbox Series X/S version will also be available on the same day that Microsoft’s new family of consoles launches around the globe.
Borderlands 3 PS5 Upgrade Set For Launch Day
The good news is that existing owners can upgrade to the next-generation version of Borderlands 3 for free. Here’s the full message posted on Twitter:
Get ready for a new generation of mayhem! #Borderlands3‘s next-gen upgrade will be available day-and-date with Microsoft and Sony’s new consoles. PLUS, players who own the game and a next-gen console can upgrade within the same console family for free!
The next-generation version of Borderlands 3 will feature 4K resolution at 60 FPS for the single-player campaign and during online co-op, and both versions will support three and four-player split screen for local multiplayer action.
