A job listing posted by Bungie indicates the former Halo developer is working on a competitive Destiny game.
According to the ad for a Senior Concept Artist, which describes the studio is working “on an exciting new title,” the successful candidate will be involved in a “wide range of game elements like guns, characters, arbors, vehicles, environments, and other seasonal art needs.”
The job listing goes on to add that the position will involve the candidate “continually push aesthetics of the Destiny universe,” which is the clearest indication yet that it the new game is indeed related to the shared-world shooter. “Experience with and love of competitive games” is listed in the ‘nice-to-have’ section in regards to the job.
As a Concept Artist, you will be working on everything from exploring character designs and iconography to proposing visual solutions for broad world building questions. Most importantly, you will work with a fun, dedicated, and passionate cross-discipline team devoted to bringing a new game to life!

We already know that Bungie is working on a third-person game, although this obviously differs from the company’s trademark first-person output.
Sony announced back in January that it is acquiring Bungie and expects the deal to be completed by the end of this year.
