Sony has reduced Bloodborne: Game of the Year Edition on the PlayStation Store to a wallet-friendly £24.99.
The critically acclaimed PlayStation 4 dungeon crawler will be available at this cut-throat price until June 1, and forms part of Sony’s ongoing PSN Deal of the Week initiative.
Bloodborne’s Game of the Year Edition contains From Software’s action-RPG plus the accompanying DLC expansion known as The Old Hunters. Alternatively, if you don’t fancy getting the DLC, you can pick up the base game for just £18.99.
Bloodborne is seen as a spiritual successor to the Dark Souls franchise, though isn’t considered part of the same series. However, the game shares many similarities with its From Software stablemate, from its gothic-inspired locations, grisly enemies and brutal combat.
Despite the series’ succes, the creator of the franchise, Hidetaka Miyazaki, has said that there are no plans for a Bloodborne or Dark Souls III successor anytime soon. Instead, the developer is focusing on creating new IP, and is already working on its next project for PS4 and PS VR.
