Call Of Duty Black Ops 6 Is Officially This Year’s Series Entry As Activision Unleashes Marketing Campaign

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been officially confirmed by Activision as this year’s entry in the multi-million selling first-person shooter franchise.

Marketing for Black Ops 6 has been spotted in Thursday’s edition of USA Today, revealing the game’s logo and a link to the TheTruthLies teaser website. If you haven’t been keeping up with our coverage on this year’s Call of Duty, the teaser site features a video that apparently references Call of Duty: Black Ops — Cold War, which featured the chance for players to either lie or tell the truth about the location of Perseus.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is expected to be fully revealed following Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase on June 9, which is the first to include titles spanning Activision Blizzard, Bethesda, and Xbox Game Studios.

This year’s Call of Duty game has long rumoured to be a Black Ops title set during the Gulf War, and will reportedly feature an open-world campaign. While we now have confirmation that it is indeed Black Ops 6, further details have yet to be confirmed by Activision, so we’ll have to wait to see how things pan out regarding is setting and content.

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 has yet to attract a release date, but as with all Call of Duty games, it’ll most likely show up in October or November.
