Activision has deployed the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 launch trailer, and as you might have expected, there’s action, explosions, men shouting at each other, and just about everything you’d expect from a Call of Duty game trailer. To be fair, it does a good job at hyping up the game’s campaign, which is often overlooked in favour of multiplayer among hardcore fans.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is scheduled for release on PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on October 25, 2024. Activision held a beta for Black Ops 6 earlier this year, and stated after its conclusion that it was the ‘biggest Call of Duty beta ever,‘ which bodes well for the game after the massive letdown of last year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.
The main campaign for Black Ops 6 takes place in 1991, and follows Troy Marshall and Frank Woods, two rogue operatives as they put together a team of agents to track down a clandestine force known as Pantheon, who have infiltrated the Central Intelligence Agency. Aside from this, the game also offers the traditional Multiplayer and Zombies modes, with sixteen new maps available at launch.
