Activision has unveiled the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Season Pass ahead of the hotly anticipated shooter’s launch in early November.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Season Pass detailed
The Season Pass will set you back $49.99, saving you around $10 on downloadable content if you were planning on picking it up separately. In terms of DLC, Infinite Warfare will be treated to four expansions, although details on the content itself has not been divulged at present. Previous entries in the multi-million selling franchise have typically featured four new maps and extra zombie content per DLC pack, so there’s a chance we can expect something similar with Infinite Warfare’s post-launch support.
In addition, gamers who fork out for the Season Pass will receive some extra goodies in the shape of 10 rare puppy drops and 1,000 Salvage Credits, plus bonus daily activity rewards. Expect more details on the Season Pass to drop soon enough.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on November 4, 2016. Developed by Infinity Ward, the original creators of the Call of Duty series, this latest instalment in the franchise takes place in outer space, with players controlling Tier 1 Special Operations pilot, Captain Nick Reyes, as he battles enemy factions in zero gravity conditions with an array of futuristic weaponry.
Gamers who purchased the special edition versions of Infinite Warfare will also include a copy of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered, with PS4 players gaining early access to the game’s main campaign ahead of other console owners. The multiplayer component will then be made available on launch day.
Call of Duty now operates on a three-year development cycle between three developers: Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games, and Treyarch.
