Infinity Ward has announced that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will receive its Hardcore Mode, known as Tier 1, alongside the game’s first season on November 16, 2022.
The Tier 1 playlists will offer players “more challenging experience compare to traditional Multiplayer. Operators have less health and limited HUD elements, and friendly fire is on. These elements are consistent in all game goes that support the Tier 1 variant.”
In addition to the Tier 1 playlist, the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Battle Pass is also going live on the first day of Season 1 alongside Call of Duty Warzone 2.0

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is now available for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. PlayStation console owners will receive exclusive content such as Double XP and two new loadout slots.
In related news, it was reported that PC and Xbox owners have been unable to turn off Cross-Play, although this isn’t the case for PS4 & PS5 users.
