Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Will Also Feature Returning Multiplayer Maps From 2022’s MW2

Call of Duty Modern Warfare III publisher Activision has confirmed plans to offer a series of maps from last year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II in the upcoming sequel, having previously announced a series of 2009 MW2 maps would be brought back for the game.

The MW2 2022 maps will “gradually become available to play” throughout Modern Warfare 3’s various seasons, with players able to access the first four “shortly after launch” via a dedicated play list that includes Farm 18, Mercado, and Shoot House.

Given that they only appeared in last year’s Call of Duty game, the returning maps won’t feature any visual improvements, nor will they support Cutthroat mode.
