Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Season 5 Patch Notes

A new patch has been added to the renowned Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II season 5. Whether you’re a fan of CoD betting or not, you’ll be interested in the updates, changes, and additions that come with this release. It’s the beginning of Season 5 Reloaded, and we’re sure to see exciting changes. From returns of exciting game modes, new modes, and schematics, it is the perfect final story mission and cinematic conclusion for the game’s Zombie mode.

New Schematics

The new patch offers three new schematics to put your gaming experience in overdrive. Improve your chances in the battle ahead by unlocking these.

  • Disciple Bottle: This schematic activates a friendly disciple at your beck and call. It’s the perfect helping hand for fighting enemies, brain-rotting zombies, and even teleporting when the going gets tough.
  • Grenade Bandolier: Use your lethal and tactical equipment to the fullest, with the schematic that replenishes these items over time. The effects last for the entire duration of the match, so bombard your enemies as you deem fit.
  • Stash Increase: Don’t go into battle short-handed. Boost your stash size to 30, increasing your capacity to carry extra loot for the major battles yet to come.

New and Returning Game Modes

The party is just getting started with this drop of game mode. Players can indulge in new releases and some returning ones from the last season.

Fishfection

This party mode variation of the party mode replaces human versus infected with cats against fish. The Cats are fitted with the Spear and the all-new Torque 35 compound bow. The gameplay in this mode requires Fish operators to dispose of these feline enemies. The real deal is to infect the felines and turn them to their side, or battle hard and survive the time limit.

Cyber Attack

This game mode is back by popular demand from the Call of Duty Modern Warfare (2019) release. Players must disable the enemy’s data center by retrieving and planting the EMP device near their center. Both teams grapple for control over this centrally placed device as the battle rages on. The player who gets the device can collect extra intel to defeat the opposing team via radar pings. Players can revive fallen teammates, and every team switches sides every two rounds, with the winner of five rounds taking the match.

Defuse or Destroy

You’ve got an objective mode, round-based challenges in teams. The game is simple; each team takes turns to attack and defend bomb sites, but there’s a huge difference. Unlike Search & Destroy, which involves attacking and defending bomb sites, Defuse or Destroy adds a little spin. In every round, there’s a bomb planted in one of two predetermined possible locations. The goal is to defend the site and either defuse the bomb before the timer runs out or detonate it to win. There’s another catch, no respawning in this event.

Paintball

This friendly game pits you against enemy teams with one goal: Splatter foes with paint. All weapons in the gameplay are 1 shot kills, eliminating operators once they take a single hit. With paintball weapons, ammunition, and enhanced sliding movements comes heated action all through. Players must compete across Hardpoint and Domination; the respawn modes through different maps, including the cel-shaded Celship and Toonoxide.

New Events

New events have been added to the mix, all for your gaming pleasure. With different activation dates and rewards, there’s much to look forward to.

Wildlife Most Wanted

With activation dates set between August 21 and August 28, there’s time to unleash your inner jungle mode. Complete challenges during this event or earn additional XP by equipping Operator Skins from wildlife-themed bundles to unlock rewards.

Emotional Overdrive

Available from September 12 to September 18, there’s another event to keep your rage in check. You can earn XP in-game to unlock rewards that are slightly cursed. If you need a boost, then any of the Operator Skins from the Emoting Ultra Skin Bundle Tracer Pack will do the trick.

Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Season 5 Reloaded adds new flair to the gameplay with significant bug fixes. Players can also look forward to improvements in UI and performance. With the added benefits of a free community pack that offers 10 each of Tier Skips, One-Hour Double Player XP Tokens, and One-Hour Double Weapon XP Tokens; there’s more fun to be had.
