Activision has announced full details on the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III multiplayer beta, with PS5 & PS4 owners getting access before PC and Xbox players during the beta’s first weekend.
The first beta weekend will kick off for preorder early access customers on October 6 at 10.00am PST/6.00pm BST, with regular PS5 & PS4 players joining on October 8. The beta itself will wrap on October 10.
The second beta weekend, which introduces Cross-Play for all formats, will kick off for early access users on October 12 at 10.00am PST/6.00pm BST for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One players. Everyone else can join on October 14 at 10.00am PST/6.00pm BST, which is open to all platforms and runs until October 16.
PS5 & PS4 owners won’t actually need a subscription to PlayStation Plus to take part in the beta, which will feature a bunch of core maps from the 16 modernised launch maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2009) as well as fresh Ground War experiences.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is pencilled in for release on November 10, 2023 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
