Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered’s campaign is now available for PlayStation 4 owners who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of Infinite Warfare, and early players have discovered that the game has been fitted with a rather interesting easter egg during one of its most celebrated missions.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Time Paradox—how to grab this unique Trophy
The mission in question is the stealth-oriented ‘All Ghillied Up,’ which sees players taking part in a flashback as John Price, who alongside his superior, Captain McMillan, are tasked with eliminating Russian arms dealer, Imran Zakhaev. However, there’s a little twist to the mission, which will earn you a hidden Trophy called ‘Time Paradox.’
It’s now possible to kill future villain Vladamir Makarov, who as you may recall is featured in this sequence during the flashback in Modern Warfare 3. He’s now been placed at the scene in ‘All Ghillied Up’ following his absence in the original version of Call of Duty 4, and can be spotted in the jeep behind Zakhaev.
Players must snipe Zakhaev and then quickly located and shoot Makarov to earn the hidden Trophy. This is easier said than done, as you won’t have much time before he attempts to make his escape, plus things get a bit complicated as an attack chopper quickly fills your scope, obscuring your view of the target.
