Call of Duty Warzone developer Raven Software has dished out another 50,000 account bans, and has indicated that it’s working on some new ant-cheat measures to help remedy the issue.
This brings the total number of accounts banned since the game’s inception in March 2020 to over 500,000, which is a worrying number when you consider it.
Furthermore, Tom Henderson has since claimed that Activision is indeed looking to implement a new anti-cheat system for Call of Duty.
A new anti-cheat system for the next Call of Duty title has been in development for over a year. The same system will be implemented into Warzone.
Call of Duty Warzone was released for PS4, PC, and Xbox One in March 2020, and has since gained support for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. This week sees the launch of Call of Duty Warzone Season 5, which adds a range of new content including a 50v50 mode and extra operators.
