Call Of Duty’s Season 5 Adds WWE Superstars To Its Roster Of Operators And A New Cel-Shaded Look To Classic Maps

Call Of Duty’s upcoming Season 5 for Warzone and Modern Warfare III steps into the ring with new WWE operators like Rhea “Bloody” Ripley, Cody “The American Nightmare” Rhodes and Rey Mysterio.

The latest trailer showcasing the new additions also shows off a few WWE-style finishing moves that’ll pummel your foes into the concrete with style.

Seeing WWE superstars running around in Warzone though is hardly the craziest thing that Call Of Duty players have seen since the series started going down the Fortnite path of meshing a whole bunch of IP’s into its game world, but the new cel-shaded maps just might be.

Classic Call Of Duty maps like Rust and Shipment have been given a cel-shaded makeover. Not just maps of course but weapon skins too. No one would blame you if you did a double take when playing Season 5, thinking you accidentally started playing Borderlands instead.

You can check out the new trailer for yourself ahead of Season 5’s launch on July 24, 2024 below.
