The first-ever Canadian Game Development Talent Awards, an award ceremony created by Alliance numérique in collaboration with the Canadian Interactive Alliance, set to take place on November 2, 2011, in Montreal.
The CGDT Awards are given to Canadian game developers, recognizing “amazing creativity and expertise.” There are seven different categories, with five different Canadian nominees in each.

“After much discussion and strong debate, we feel that we have nominated the best of the best in the game development field for this past year,” said General Manager of Alliance numérique, Pierre Proulx. “We hope everybody will join us for this first-ever edition of the Talent Awards,”
The awards ceremony will take place at Montreal’s Hilton Bonaventure Hotel on November 2, at the Montreal International Game Summit (MIGS 2011). PSU will be attending MIGS 2011 so make sure to check back for coverage early November.
