Capcom announced today that it will be bringing upcoming Pirate romp Age of Booty to PlayStation Network and Xbox Live in mid-October.
The game will hit Xbox Live Arcade on October 15, followed by a PSN release on October 16. PS3 owners will also be treated to a demo of the game in the near future, while Xbox owners will receive a free trial on the day of release.
As for a price, expect pay USD 10 for each version of the game regardless of which country you buy from.
Curiously, the game was apparently inspired by Halo developer Bungie’s long-running April Fools gag, Pimps at Sea, and previously went under the name of Plunder.
