Jeff Grubb Heard That Capcom Had Plans For Dino Crisis, But This Was Before Exoprimal Came About

Jeff Grubb has revealed during the latest Games Mess Mornings show that he’s heard whispers that something could be brewing in the Dino Crisis camp, following news that Capcom has sent out a survey asking fans if they’d like to see a revival of various franchises.

He made it clear that he was tipped off about a Dino Crisis project before Exoprimal came about, but seemed to think there’s still a chance something could happen with the series.

The one I have heard rumoured to me is Dino Crisis is something they’re thinking of doing, or is something they are doing. The problem is I heard that before Exoprimal, and then I saw Exoprimal, and I was like, ‘Is this what I was getting tipped off about?’ And so I was unsure, but there’s still a chance that they are making a Dino Criss game and it’s just been a couple of years, and we’ll actually start to see it soon. I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the case.

Dino Crisis was released for the PSOne back in 1999, and was directed by Shinji Mikami, who created the Resident Evil franchise. A sequel followed in 2000, with a third Dino Crisis turning up in 2003 for the Xbox, albeit set hundreds of years in the future and having nothing to do with the previous games.
