Capcom’s targeting big numbers for Slant Six’s Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, forecasting 2.5 million sales for the tactical horror shooter in the financial year ending March 31, 2012.
The game hits PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in winter 2011, and pits players in the shoes of a group of Umbrella agents tasked with eradicating all evidence of the conglomerate’s hand in the T-Virus outbreak of fall 1998.
Essentially, this has you capping copious amounts of zombies, BOWs and even silencing would-be government agent and Resident Evil poster boy, Leon S. Kennedy.
Elsewhere, Capcom also targeted sales of two million for crossover brawler Street Fighter x Tekken before the financial year wraps up, indicating the fighter will be out before April next year.
Dragon’s Dogma, meanwhile, is expected to move 1.5 million copies upon its arrival in early 2012, while Dead Rising 2: Off the Record’s sales are pegged at a modest 800,000.
