Capcom teases with horrific Resident Evil: Revelations 2 concept art

The community website of gaming behemoth Capcom – the aptly-titled: ‘Capcom Unity’ – has teased gamers by showing off two new juicy pieces of concept art for its upcoming Resident Evil: Revelations 2.

In typically cryptic and horror-stricken fashion, the first screenshot teases an eerie, dank prison complete with upper tiers and natural lighting. It’s not somewhere you’d take a first date, that’s for sure.

Up next is a lighting-laden island, which of course houses said prison; it’s a desolate point on a seemingly vast ocean, with uneasy waves and a distinctly dark hue.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is a sequel to the original namesake which was first released on Nintendo 3DS before being ported to Sony’s PS3 amongst others. Leaked over two months ago, the game’s official unveiling came at Sony’s pre-Tokyo Game Show earlier this week and is due in early 2015.
