In related news, it was recently revealed that CDPR had taken on more than 50 new staff members, some of which have already gone to work on The Witcher IV. Speaking of that game, the developer revealed during the same earnings call that the upcoming fantasy-RPG would not be released in 2026.
The Witcher IV was announced during December’s The Game Awards show with a cinematic debut trailer, confirming Ciri is the lead protagonist. This choice has been supported by Doug Cockle, the voice actor behind Geralt, who will also be appearing in the game but to what extent remains unknown.
