The developer behind Cyberpunk 2077 has assured fans that there won’t be any more delays for the highly anticipated sci-fi title.
Cyberpunk 2077 Won’t See Anymore Delays
While Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed twice already – it was pushed from April 2020 to September and then finally November – CD Projekt RED doesn’t seem to have any doubts that it’ll hit its November 19 slot for PS4, PC and Xbox One.
Speaking during its recap of the first-half of company’s fiscal year 2020, Piotr Nielubowicz, CDPR’s chief financial officer, commented: “When we meet again in this format, Cyberpunk 2077 will have already been released.”
For those who aren’t aware, CDPR releases these videos at the end of every financial quarter, as well as the end of each half of the fiscal year. As such, we’re expecting the next video to drop in December — after Cyberpunk 2077 is released.
There’s always a chance something could happen at the last minute, but as far as CDPR is concerned, we shouldn’t worry about any further delays.
We should hope not too, as the company has put a hell of a lot of money into developing Cyberpunk 2077.
