The Call of Duty: Elite beta is now underway for PlayStation 3 owners, with the first few stages of the service being activated.
The beta will use Call of Duty: Black Ops as its platform for testing the select features like stats tracking, custom player groups, competitions and video sharing.
However, this is just a slice of what is to come when the offical launch takes place on November 8, which is the same day that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will go on sale.
