Call of Duty Vanguard Alpha Storyline

The Call of Duty Vanguard Alpha game is also developed by Sledgehammer Games. As expected, the game will be available on all major gaming platforms including PlayStation4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Microsoft Windows. This is the eighth installment in the CoD series and it revolves around the special forces. More specifically, the storyline in Call of Duty Vanguard Alpha features four World War II frontlines or four different campaigns including the North African, Eastern Front, Western Front, and Pacific War campaigns.

According to the Sledgehammer Games team that designed the game, the Call of Duty Vanguard Alpha single-player campaign will introduce players to the never-told stories of the special forces of multinational heroes. The main characters in the eighth Call of Duty installment are inspired by real people including Lyudmila Pavlichenko who was a Soviet sniper. Other main characters in the game are Allied nations soldiers including Sgt. Arthur Kingsley, a British paratrooper for the British Army Parachute Battalion.

Lt. Polina Petrova working for the Red Army Rifle Division inspired by Lyudmila Pavlichenko is another main character alongside, Cpt. Wade Jackson of the United States Navy Squadron and Lt. Lucas Riggs of the Australian Army Battalion. The main antagonist is Heinrich Freisinger, director of the Geheime Staatspolizei (Gestapo) police.

Call of Duty Vanguard Alpha Gameplay

Before the game’s official release in November this year, some inside sources revealed information about the game that the developers’ wanted to keep a secret. In late August, a special Call of Duty Warzone event took place and CoD fans participated in The Battle of Verdansk one-time event. At the end of the event, the developer’s revealed the last CoD Vanguard Alpha trailer before the game’s official release.

While Call of Duty Vanguard Alpha is not an awe-inspiring game, it doubtlessly looks great from everything we have seen so far. Call of Duty fans are familiar with the Multiplayer Mode and the Kill Confirmed and Domination modes and the upcoming game features both of them with the addition of a new Patrol mode which brings much more action than Hardpoint and it can get very chaotic with enemies emerging from everywhere. Call of Duty Vanguard also introduces a new combat pacing system.

The gameplay relies on the same Modern Warfare engine while the weaponry and guns are quite different with assault rifles, SMGs, and sniper rifles included. All in all, Call of Duty fans will have fun with the upcoming game even if they are used to Black Ops Cold War.
