A PlayStation Network account is reportedly mandatory for Firewalk Studios‘ upcoming Concord for Steam & Epic Games Store, according to insider Billbil-kun.
Following our latest investigations, we can confirm that connecting with a PSN account will be mandatory to access the Concord game whether on Steam or the Epic Games Store.

Concord was fully revealed during Sony’s State of Play broadcast last week with a cinematic trailer that gave off a distinct Guardians of the Galaxy vibe. The game takes the form of a 5v5 hero shooter and features a crew of Freegunners — essentially intergalactic bounty hunters who will do anything to make some cash — battling against opposing teams, securing objectives, and unleashing special abilities.
Unfortunately, it seems that a lot of people got the wrong end of the stick about Concord, as its gameplay trailer received an overwhelmingly negative reception on YouTube. Many folk initially thought Concord would be a single-player, narrative-driven game, but were disappointed to learn this wasn’t the case.
Concord is scheduled to launch for PS5 and PC on August 23, 2024 and will receive a Beta period next month.
