Toxic Games has hinted that Quick Understanding of Block Extrusion (aka QUBE) may come to PlayStation Vita.
The first-person puzzler is available on PC and Mac, and the studio is currently prepping the game for a Wii U launch.
However, when approached by gamers on Twitter as to whether the game could see a release on Sony’s new handheld, the company replied: “quite possibly!”
QUBE has been compared to the Portal franchise, and sees gamers navigating sterile environments as they attempt to reach the exit of each stage. This is accomplished by solving various puzzles linked to coloured blocks, which can be interacted with via a special pair of gloves.
By manipulating the blocks depending on their functions (for example, red blocks extend or retract, while yellow blocks are grouped and can serve as stairways) gamers will progress to the exit and the next stage. Puzzles increase in difficultly as you progress, with light-oriented riddles and other such hazards obstructing your pathway.
Stay tuned for more information as we get it.
