Developer Beenox has lifted the wraps off the Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled 1.10 update patch notes, which is live now for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the kart racing title. It’s only a small update, weighing in at 100MB, and fixes a number of lingering bugs with the title.
Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled 1.10 Update Patch Notes
There’s not an awful lot of detail available on this one, with Beenox simply listing ‘bug fixes’ for the update. However, folk on Reddit have confirmed that various paint jobs have been fixed, including Le Chaux Yellow, and the ThunderStruck, Hot Air Skyways, and Dingo Canyon exploits have been fixed.
And that’s your lot, folks. As we said, it’s a small update, and chances are some of you are probably a bit deflated at seeing those exploits patched out.
Recently, Beenox launched the Spyro & Friends Grand Prix event for Crash Team Racing, which includes additional content such as new karts, items, and characters, including the fire-breathing platform hero himself.
Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is a full remake of the class Naughty Dog-developed Crash Team Racing on PSOne. Aside from a complete visual overhaul, this revamped version of the 1999 title includes content plucked from Crash Tag Team Racing and Crash Nitro Kart, which were released in 2005 and 2003, respectively.
The game features 26 playable characters in total, although at first you’ll only have access to the eight racers featured in the original Crash Team Racing. In addition, the PS4 version of Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled also includes exclusive content, such as retro skins for characters and one track.
The original Crash Team Racing was an stone-cold classic, and many people would argue that it’s on par, if not better than Mario Kart 64, which remains one of the best of its kind. What side of the fence do you sit on?
