GamesIndustry’s Christopher Dring has revealed on Twitter that Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion sold 70% of physical copies in the UK on the PS5.
Square Enix’s latest entry in the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII, which is remaster of the original 2008 PSP version of the game (albeit, a very extensive remaster) debuted at number eight on the charts — not too shabby for a remaster in this day and age.
In terms of other consoles, the PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions of the game took 12% of sales, leaving Xbox formats to just 6% of overall physical sales. However, it should be noted that Xbox is more digital-based in terms of sales compared to other formats.
Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion was released on December 13, 2022 for PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. You can have a gander at our full view on the PS5 version of the game here.
