Immortality, the interactive movie trilogy from Half Mermaid Productions, is launching for PS5 on January 23, 2024. The game was previously released or iOS, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on August 30, 2022.
Sam Barlow, the game’s director, commented:
From the inception of this project, the goal has been sharing Marissa Marcel’s life and work with as large an audience as possible. So I am thrilled to bring IMMORTALITY to PlayStation gamers and bring them face to face with a lost legend.
Immortality represents Barlow’s first horror release since 2009’s Silent Hill Shattered Memories, which was a reimagining of the original 1999 PSOne title, Silent Hill. The game sees players experiencing a treasure trove of recently unearthed footage from the three lost movies of film star Marissa March, which never saw the light of day.

Players will utilise a magical mechanic allowing them to ‘match cut’ from a visual at any point in a piece of footage, thus letting them navigate the cinematic language to uncover the secrets that lie beneath. Immortality features writing talent from Allan Scott, Amelia Gray, and Barry Gifford.
Immortality arrives for PS5 on January 23, 2024.
