Cuphead‘s upcoming DLC The Delicious Last Course has been delayed once again into 2021, after being delayed previously by the studio.
In a post on Twitter, Studio MDHR outlined that the move has been made to ensure the final chapter of Cuphead and Mugma’s Story is the best work from the team yet. Combining this philosophy with the fact that the COVID-19 pandemic has ravaged development across studios and affected production times means that a release in 2020 has been seeming unlikely for a while now.
Cuphead released earlier this year on PS4 and it brought one of the best indie titles of the last decade to PlayStation players for the first time. We loved it in our review, giving it a 9.5 out of 10. You can read our thoughts on it here.
Cuphead is available now on PS4 and The Delicious Last Course DLC will release in 2021. The game and its DLC will be playable on PS5 via backwards compatibility.
