CD Projekt RED has announced that Cyberpunk 2077 has sold 25 million units worldwide since its launch in December 2020.
Cyberpunk 2077 was originally released for the PS4, PC, and Xbox One and launched with numerous performance issues on consoles, so much so that CDPR spent the next few months or so frequently patching the game. However, things improved dramatically when the native PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of Cyberpunk 2077 arrived on the scene, which benefited from a number of quality of life improvements.

Furthermore, the game also received its first and only expansion, Phantom Liberty.
Earlier this week it was confirmed that CDPR had team up with Anonymous Content to produce a live-action project set in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe. The studio also revealed that the in-development Cyberpunk 2077 sequel, Project Orion, is currently on a ‘conceptual design level.‘
