COVID-19 has led to a lot of issues for the games industry. One of the biggest game shows of the year takes place every June but this year that event canceled. I’m of course referring to E3. With its cancelation, dozens upon dozens of publishers and developers have had to adapt and think of different ways to announce the games they’be been hard at work at.
Cyberpunk 2077 Special Event Set For June 11th
One such company is CD Projekt Red. Working tirelessly on their next blockbuster Cyberpunk 2077. One of this year’s most anticipated games is also set to be a cross-gen title. Set to release on September 17th, 2020. CD Projekt Red has been quite on the game since it’s daily out of April 2020 was announced. Leaving people wondering if the title may be delayed again due to COVID-19.

Thankfully fans won’t have to wait much longer to get news on Cyberpunk 2077 as CD Projekt Red has announced their own event to showcase the game. We aren’t sure what kind of information will be shared, but we think it’s going to be a deep-dive into the title explaining a lot of mechanics and hopefully running on next-gen consoles.
