GameStop’s internal system has listed the Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on December 5, 2023.
CD Projekt RED hasn’t announced an official date yet, but back in October the studio confirmed that it was going to release a Complete Edition of the game, so this Ultimate Edition is probably just that. As such, we can expect it to feature Cyberpunk 2077’s base experience alongside the recently-released Phantom Liberty expansion.
Meanwhile, retailer CoolShop listed a physical PS5 version of Cyberpunk 2077 for release on November 30, which is presumably the standard version of the game on disc.
Cyberpunk 2077 was originally released for the PS4, PC, and Xbox One in December 2020, although the console version was plagued by various bugs and performance issues. As such, CDPR spent the next year or so patching things up, a process which, alongside production of Phantom Liberty, cost the studio around $125 million.
The native PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of Cyberpunk 2077 arrived in February 2022, at which point the game was in a much better state. The title continued to perform well financially, and CDPR confirmed back in October that Cyberpunk 2077 had sold over 25 million copies worldwide.
