Cyberpunk 2077 Wall Running Has Been Cut From Final Game

Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt RED has confirmed that wall running will not be featured in the final version of the game.

In case you missed it, wall running was seen in the August 2018 demo of the highly anticipated sci-fi title, but CDPR has now confirmed it had to be given the snip due to ‘design reasons.’ Here’s what level designer Max Pears had to say during a chat with GameReactor:

Ah, the wall running. That is something that we removed due to design reasons, but there’s still going to be a lot of flexibility in how you move, that’s for sure.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on November 17 for PS4, PC and Xbox One, and users can freely upgrade to the next-generation version of the title on launch. The standalone PS5 and Xbox Series X edition of Cyberpunk 2077 will follow in 2021.
