Gunfire Games has confirmed that there are some issues with Darksiders 3 update 1.02. Though the game doesn’t officially launch until November 27, many players already have their hands on the game, but it looks like they’ll be a patch to fix the patch.
Confirming on Twitter earlier today, Gunfire Games wrote:
“Hey everyone we are aware of the patch issue that hit an hour ago and are currently working on fixing it! Thank you so much for your patience while we figure this out!”

Right now, we’re not sure exactly what issues Darksiders 3 update 1.02 has caused. However, over on Reddit there’s word that it affects the visuals/colour with some players warning others not to deploy the update.
Darksiders 3 Update 1.02 Patch Notes
- Added color fixes.
- Added fixes for stuttering and framerate drop issues.
- Darksiders 3 1.02 added fixes for crashing and freezing issues.
- Added performance and stability performance.
- Added minor UI changes with Darksiders 3 version 1.02.
- Other minor changes.
Luckily, whatever it is the developer has jumped right on it, so if you haven’t got the game yet it should at least be fixed for launch. Plus the new patch, presumable update 1.03 should over-ride any problems it caused.
