David Hayter Involved In Voice Work For Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater That He ‘Can’t Really Talk About Yet’

David Hayter, the voice actor behind Snake in the Metal Gear Solid franchise, has revealed that he’s involved in some new voice work for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater, but isn’t able to discuss the details just yet.

Speaking with YouTube account Kakuchopueri, Hayter discussed the extent of his involvement in the remake of 2004’s Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, revealing it goes beyond just marketing the title. The actor had already teased a possible return to playing Snake, so this could be what he was talking about.

From the beginning, Konami and I started talking, [and] I came aboard to help do promotion and work with them. They’ve let me in on what they’re doing behind the scenes, I got to play a little bit of the game a few months ago. There may be some things that I’m doing voice-wise that I can’t really talk about yet, but I’m working to support the game, and I’m pretty involved, which is nice.
