Daytona USA coming to PSN, Xbox Live

Retro-fused racer Daytona USA will be hitting PlayStation Network in the U.S. on October 25, SEGA has announced.

The classic arcade title will be released on the European PSN in late November, with an Xbox Live version arriving in the U.S. and Europe on October 26.

Originally released in 1993, the game will include leaderboards and online support and will retail for $9.99 and 800 Microsoft Points for the PSN and XBL versions, respectively. It’ll also include 16:9 widescreen support, though the visuals themselves appear to retain the classic retro aesthetic.

Here’s what you’ll get from the re-release, straight from SEGA’s press blurb:

-Relive your glory days of racing to the sounds of the original Daytona USA soundtrack, also available in Karaoke Mode

-Support for the Logitech GT Driving Force steering wheel controller on PS3, and all Xbox 360-supported steering wheel controllers

-Arcade Mode, race the clock in Survival and Time Trial Modes with up to eight players in online multiplayer to place on the worldwide leaderboard
