Sony Online Entertainment has super-glued a North American release date of January 11, 2011 to its upcoming super hero romp DC Universe Online.
In addition, the studio also pinned down a UK launch date for the eagerly anticipated MMO, confirming the game will touch down in the region on January 14.
The game will ship with a free 30-day subscription, but once that runs out you’ll have to fork out $15 (€13) per month or part with a meaty $199 (€180) for a lifetime subscription.
DC Universe was previously pencilled in for release in November 2010, though sadly ended up as one of the many casualties in Sony’s sumptuous holiday line-up to be elbowed in to the New Year.
