Dead Island will receive a day-one patch that will correct a significant number of issues that have sprung up and kicked the game in the guts with its initial review scores.
The patch contains a whopping 37 day-one fixes that include improvements to enemy awareness and their reaction to fire, an area which has been most criticized. Also in the patch are fixes to some broken quest lines, co-op fixes and more.
Dead Island is already out in the United States, and will be out in Europe and other regions later this week on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
