Dead Space Remake will feature a New Game Plus mode, Jo, Berry, the game’s Senior Writer, has confirmed during a chinwag with Inverse.
While Berry didn’t go into any further details on the New Game Plus mode, he confirmed it will be featured in the game, and that “you’d definitely benefit from going through the USG Ishimura a second time.”
Dead Space Remake is pencilled in for a January 27, 2023 release on PS5, PC and Xbox One. The original Dead Space was released in 2008 for PS3, PC and Xbox 360, and was developed by EA Redwood Shores, which later became Visceral Games.

Glen Schofield, the creator of the original Dead Space who recently worked on The Callisto Protocol at Striking Distance Studios, has admitted that if it were up to him, he wouldn’t have remade the game.
