PlayStation Studios XDEV has revealed in a post on X that both Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and Death Stranding: Director’s Cut have been updated to take advantage of the PS5’s Power Saver feature.
Attention fellow Porters! A new patch for DEATH STRANDING 2 has been delivered. Mandarin Chinese audio can now be selected as a language option + the game now supports the PS5 Power Saver mode. DEATH STRANDING DIRECTOR’S CUT has also been updated to support Power Saver mode.

Sony has been busy patching a number of its titles with the PS5 Power Saver option over the past week or so, with Days Gone Remastered and Demon’s Souls both having been updated to implement the feature.
The Power Saver feature was introduced with PS5 system update 25.06-12.00.00 back in September, and can be found by heading to Settings > System > Power Saving > Use Power Saver. This is designed to scale back the performance of the system by reducing energy use in supported games.
