Deathloop And Ghostwire Tokyo Reportedly PS5-Exclusives For At Least 12 Months

Bethesda’s Deathloop and Ghostwire Tokyo are still coming to PS5 despite ZeniMax Media’s acquisition by Microsoft, but it appears both titles will be exclusive to Sony’s next-generation console for 12 months.

Deathloop And Ghostwire Tokyo Are PS5 Exclusives For A Year?

That’s at least according to a new video released by Sony overnight, which claims that PS5 and PC users will have at least a year’s worth of exclusivity to both games. A disclaimer shows up alongside footage of Deathloop and Ghostwire Tokyo, stating that they won’t be showing up on any other format for at least 12 months after their launch.

We know that Deathloop is out on May 21, 2021, but Ghostwire Tokyo has not yet received a release date. Still, this is an interesting development, and at least some good news for PS5 owners considering we’re probably not going to see anything beyond those two games arrive on Sony’s console due to Microsoft’s acquisition.

Bethesda hasn’t made any official announcement about timed PS5 exclusivity for these games yet, but the fact it’s in a Sony video gives it serious clout.
