Destiny 2 Guided Games has launched giving players the opportunity to team up for the punishing Nightfall Strikes.
How Destiny 2 Guided Games works?
So, first up you need to unlock the Nightfall Strikes. You do this by:
- Complete the ‘Fury’ campaign in the main story mission
- Speak to Commander Zavala in the courtyard of the Tower
- Complete two strikes from the playlist
Now you’ve completed your two strikes, you can try out guided games in Destiny 2.
What are Destiny 2 Guided Games?
In the first Destiny, you were offered no group finding to attempt the Nightfall or Raid, so you had to figure out your entire group before going in, but with Guided Games you can group up with another fireteam to complete both.
So, you’ll get two options if you go the Nightfall or Raid screen in Destiny 2.
1. Choose to be a seeker. A seeker is a lone player who is looking to team up with a fireteam for a Nightfall or Strike.
2. Choose to be a guide. A guide is a group of two or more players (with half the team at least being from the same clan) seeking another player to join their team for a Nightfall or Raid.
The Guided Games feature for Destiny 2 is currently limited due to it being in beta. It will be out of beta on September 26. So, you can currently become a guide no problem at all, but to be a seeker you currently need a Destiny 2 Guided Games ticket.
What are Destiny 2 Guided Games Tickets?
Guided Games tickets have only been issued to select players. You’ll know if you’re one of them because Darbi 55-30, the Postmaster in the Farm, will have a little gift for you with a Nightfall ticket.
Sadly, if you haven’t got one you’ll have to wait until the beta phase finishes when we presumed Bungie will dish out a Destiny 2 Guided Games Nightfall ticket to us all.
