**Now that Revelry has ended Arbalest is now a random drop in the exotic loot pool. It has a chance of dropping from any activity.**
The Arbalest is a very special weapon. Not only is it a Primary Liner Fusion Rifle, the first of its kind, but it’s also tied to The Revelry.
The Revelry is the new Spring event run by Eva Levante. Getting this weapon requires a bit of gameplay. However, it’s also very straightforward and flexible. With each event inside of Destiny, there are triumphs to complete. The Revelry comes with twelve, with two requiring you to complete other triumphs. These two are Play Hard and Play Harder. Play Hard asks you to complete any seven Revelry triumphs to complete, while Play Harder asks you to complete all Revelry triumphs.
To obtain Arbalest, you only need to complete the Play Hard Triumph.
4 Steps to Get Arbalest
1: Talk to Eva Levante
This step is pretty straight forward. Once you arrive in the Tower you will be directed down to Eva to start the Revelry quest. Here, she will explain what the event is. With this, she will give you a Reveler’s Tonic, a device that is used to brew the Tonic, and 50 Reveler’s Essence which is enough to make one enhancement Tonic.
After this exchange, proceed to the Verdant Forest. This activity can be started in the Tower. when you bring up your map of the Tower you will see it on the top by the spawn point.
2: Complete the Play Hard Triumph
From here you have free reign on how you would like to proceed. All you have to do is pick seven Triumphs to complete from the Revelry 2019 Triumph list and the hear part is complete.
3: Acquire 300 Reveler’s Essence
If you haven’t saved up enough already you will want to complete activities to gain Reveler’s Essence. Completing runs in the Verdant Forest seems like the fastest way to gain these blue buggers.
4: Purchase Arbalest from Eva
From here, it’s just a short hop to the Tower to purchase your shiny new toy from Eva.

Tonics – Finish The Seven Triumphs Quickly
The seven Triumphs may seem like a lot. However, there are new Tonics that you can purchase with Reveler’s Essence to make things a bit easier. These Tonics decrease cooldown timers for one of three things, depending on the Tonic used.
Proud: Class Ability Boost
Boosts class ability recharge rate. This will allow your Guardians Super to recharge much faster than normal.
Energetic: Grenade Boost
Greatly decreases grenade reload time.
Friendly: Melee Boost
Greatly decreases melee cooldown.
Each of these Tonics lasts an hour. Although a boosted will be applied while running pieces of gear from the Inaugural Revelry or Vernal Growth gear sets. The Inaugural Revelry set can be acquired from completing Verdant Forest runs or from weekly bounties from Eva. The Vernal Growth gear set can be acquired from Tess. Eververs will be selling two pieces of gear a week, but you can also acquire them from leveling up your Guardian.
By completing any activities in Destiny 2, you will also be rewarded Reveler’s Essence. This new currency specific to the Revelry event will be needed to not only make new Tonics when yours expire but to also purchase the Arbalest. You will need 300 Reveler’s Essence, which I admit is a lot, but by completing random activities, it will come quickly.
I hope this guide was helpful and if you’re looking for any more exotics here’s a list of how to get some. In the coming weeks, we will be going back and showing you how to get each exotic So keep your eyes up to PSU Guardian.
