The first Destiny 2 weekly Nightfall update has gone live alongside full game today, so once you’ve buffed your Guardian up to a sufficient level you’ll be able to take on this ultra-difficult mission for rare loot.

Kicking things off for Destiny 2 is The Arms Dealer Nightfall, which sees players tasked with taking down an ironmonger who is providing weapons to the Red Legion.

Destiny 2 Nightfall time limit and power level confirmed

However, there’s a few key details you should be aware of. For starters, Guardians have 11 minutes to complete the Nightfall, or you’ll be kicked back to orbit. Time can be added by killing enemies, although the amount you receive depends upon the type of foe defeated.

Of course, you can’t just waltz into the Nightfall on any difficulty and expect to come out on top. Bungie has said that the regular Nightfall is equipped with a 240 Power Level recommendation, while the prestige version clocks in at 300.

Bungie hasn’t yet confirmed what modifiers will be in place for the Nightfall, although it has revealed what challenges are in place. Check them out below.

Speed Of Dark

Complete the Nightfall with at least 5 minutes remaining.

Unbroken

Complete the Nightfall with fewer than 3 deaths.

Trash The Thresher

Shoot down a Thresher while fighting Bracus Zahn.

As before, the Destiny 2 weekly reset will shuffle the various challenges available for Guardians to tackle and we’ll be reporting on it every Tuesday.
