Destiny 2 Receives Vault Of Glass Raid From The Original Destiny On May 22

Remember The Vault of Glass Raid from Destiny? Well, if you’re still tucking into Destiny 2, then might want to know that Bungie has announced that the Raid will be making a comeback to the shared-world shooter on May 22.

The Vault of Glass will launch on May 22 at 1.00pm EST for Destiny 2 players, marking the first Raid from Destiny to make the transition to Destiny 2 as part of the Destiny Content Vault system.

As expected, there will be a World First Raid Competition to accompanying Vault of Glass, which challenges players to finish the mission on Contest mode; a special version of the Raid that lowers the gear level of Guardians to make things more difficult. If you Vault of Glass in the first 24 hours of its availability, you will receive a special prize.

However, even that Vault of Glass is very familiar to players of the original Destiny, Bungie requires Guardians to beat it on Contest Mode and Challenge Mode. The latter requires Guardians to conquer special challenges; failure to do so will mean you’ll have to start all over again.

The first team who conquers Vault of Glass on these two modes will receive a custom raid title belt.

Elsewhere, Bungie confirmed that Vault of Glass will still remain on Venus, although unlike Destiny this planet isn’t fully explorable in the sequel, so you’ll only be able to see a brief section of the planet before diving into the Raid.

Destiny 2 is now available for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
