Destiny 2 story leak via Amazon listing of Mega Bloks sets?

Stemming from information provided from a Bungie forum member (via NeoGaf) and a video made by My Name is ByF, it appears that some details about the Destiny 2 story could have been leaked.

DalmationNation initially found the apparent Destiny 2 leak on the official forums, where he posted to another thread that provides information about an Amazon listing for a set of new Destiny Mega Blox and Construx sets, which has since been removed.

What’s interesting about this information is that it seems to hint at events that have yet to transpire within Destiny, suggesting that this may in fact take place in the much-anticipated sequel, due out at some point in 2017 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It also lines up with what we’ve heard from industry insiders such as Shinobi and from sources at Kotaku.

Publishing giant Activision has been quiet on Destiny 2 in terms of raw details, although a number of leaks have indicated that we’ll be seeing more from the Cryptarch and Xur, Agent of the Nine in the context of the game’s storyline. Furthermore, artwork that appeared online last year indicated that humanity may be on its last legs, although any official story details have yet to be confirmed.

As for the original Destiny, Bungie has said that there’s no Valentine’s Day-themed Crimson Days event this year, though it has promised new content will be dropping at some point in the near future.
