Bungie has flicked the Destiny 2 weekly reset switch, which means Guardians have a fresh set of Milestones to tackle for the next seven days.
The Destiny 2 reset is essentially Bungie’s way of offering new challenges on a weekly basis. Taking place every Tuesday morning — although that’s about to change early next month— the rest changes up the Nightfall Strike and refreshes its Milestones such as Clash of Arms and more.
Bungie is planning to roll out fresh content for Destiny 2 in the coming months via seasons. The first one will offer up an event known as The Dawning, which gives the Tower a winter makeover among other additions.
The game’s first batch of DLC, Curse of Osiris, is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on December 5. Also arriving that same day is a PS4 Pro patch, meaning Destiny 2 will look even prettier for those with the necessary hardware.
Nightfall
The Nightfall this week comes in the shape of the Pyramidion along with the modifiers Torrent and Timewarp: Zero Hour.
Challenges
- Speed of Dark: complete the Nightfall with at least five minutes remaining.
- Unbroken: complete the Nightfall with fewer than three deaths.
- Siege Engine: do not allow Brakion to remain shielded for more than 40 seconds before defeating it.
Meditations
- Six: a crashed colony ship, an inter-species war… Cayde-6 got that adventure he wanted. Go save him from it.
- Sacrilege: since the loss of her Light, Ikora has many questions—and she’s not leaving Io without answers.
- Looped: no one’s heard from Cayde-6 since the Hunter took off for an uncharted world. Track him down.
Flashpoint
Guardians will need to head to Io this week and polish off some Public Events to earn your prize. As always, be sure to grab Cayde-6’s treasure maps before you make the journey.
